I am sorry but I can only write in English. I hope that someone will be kind enough to translate and place this letter in the correct forum. I have written to warn you about a US buyer- Leslie Wooldridge of Chicago, Illinois, USA.

A year ago I sold a puppy to Leslie, a "dog trainer/handler". She paid a deposit and the registration papers were held until she finished paying for the puppy. She promised final payment of $1500 within 2 weeks. She never paid and ignored all my letters requesting payment or return of the puppy.

The puppy is now 16 months old and she has decided that she will not finish paying for her but will instead spay her and sell her. Or possibly keep her for breeding and use another dog's registration. She has lied to me so often I don't know what she'll do. She told me that the dog was in great shape and would not need any veterinary care, yet at a health examination yesterday, she had infections in both ears and bites on her face.

Leslie has said she will allow me to "buy her back" for a return of the full deposit. I can "buy back" a puppy that was never paid for? She also does not feel a puppy buyer should have to pay for health certificates, crates, shipping or any of the other expenses in getting it to the buyer.

She has said that she is importing two young bitches from the Ukraine, one to keep and one to sell. The puppies were supposed to arrive in the US on Saturday May 1- now the due date is Monday May 3. She does not care if you keep registration papers for final payments. She does not need registration papers to sell dogs.

I have had the good fortune to sell several puppies over the years and trusted the buyer enough to pay the balance later. I have bought puppies over the years and had breeders trust me enough to make the final payment after I received the puppy. But this is one person I should never have trusted.
